What Teachers Want From Digital Tools — Infographic
More than ever, high-quality digital tools are critical to personalizing learning and improving educational outcomes for all students. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation surveyed more than 3,100 K-12 teachers in five areas, focusing on the use and effectiveness of digital tools. This infographic highlights what teachers told us they wanted from these products.
Last week, our Progress in Action campaign celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week by highlighting stories of great teachers around the country—teachers who are working to help all students succeed.
Heading into a new school year, I’m feeling refreshed, energized, and excited to take on new challenges. I have many things on my mind. But mostly I’m eager to see how my learners grow and make progress.
Over the past two years, educators at Windy Hill Middle School in Clermont, Florida have been transforming their teaching, tailoring instruction to students’ individual needs and interests. Students have been using new tools to learn content at their own pace and taking ownership of their learning in the process.
