What It Looks Like: Master Coding Videos for Observer Training and Assessment — Report
This research report describes how to recruit, train, and organize a group of master coders to align video of classroom instruction with the components of an observation rubric to support observer training and assessment.
In 2009, through the Intensive Partnerships for Effective Teaching initiative, we invested in three school districts: Hillsborough County Public Schools, Florida; Memphis City Schools, Tennessee; and Pittsburgh Public Schools, Pennsylvania, and a group of charter management organizations (CMOs).
