This Professional Learning Module provides guidelines for implementing the Shell Center’s Formative Assessment Lesson Rational and Irrational Numbers 2. Educators can use this information to better understand how to apply the lesson, which is compatible with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), to their own instruction.
Much has been written and debated on the state-led shift toward more rigorous, consistent K-12 education standards commonly known as Common Core.
