Community College Research Center – A Framework for Advising Reform

Based on research on the Integrated Planning and Advising for Student Success (iPASS) initiative and other advising redesign efforts, this evidence-based framework for advising redesign, SSIPP, emphasizes a sustained, strategic, integrated, proactive, and personalized approach to advising. This resource describes the key principles of the SSIPP framework and illustrates how these principles have been adopted in reforms.
