What Educators Want From Digital Instructional Tools — Report
No one knows teaching like teachers. So, to help connect teachers to valuable resources, we asked more than 3,100 educators to share feedback around the digital instructional tools that they’re using (or not using) to help prepare students for college and careers. This report outlines our findings, offers conclusions and recommendations, and identifies areas for further study.
Over the past two years, educators at Windy Hill Middle School in Clermont, Florida have been transforming their teaching, tailoring instruction to students’ individual needs and interests. Students have been using new tools to learn content at their own pace and taking ownership of their learning in the process.
“Why are we learning this?” This is a perennial question teachers hear from students, who sometimes struggle to see the big picture: how their schoolwork is preparing them for life after graduation.
