Early Progress: Interim Research on Personalized Learning — Report
As part of our commitment to ensuring that students leave high school ready to succeed in college and careers, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has partnered with a number of leading schools, educators, and other funders in the emerging field of personalized learning. This interim report from the RAND Corporation is the first in a series of research reports showing the different approaches Foundation-funded schools are taking to personalized learning.
Far too many students don't have access to a high-quality education. This is particularly true for low-income students and students of color, roughly half of today's student population.
Last week, our Progress in Action campaign celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week by highlighting stories of great teachers around the country—teachers who are working to help all students succeed.
We’ve all heard it. Anyone who has been working in education for any length of time knows by now: We can’t fix education if parents aren’t involved.
