All students deserve access to worthwhile and meaningful educational experiences that prepare them for academic success. All teachers deserve support creating classroom environments where students can thrive. High-quality instructional materials allow teachers to better help students master skills and construct knowledge in the classroom. However, the adoption of instructional materials alone is insufficient to ensure that teachers are fully equipped to deliver high-quality instruction. These materials must be accompanied by professional learning opportunities. The Professional Learning Partnerships Initiative is an effort to advance professional learning (PL) services.
