The Center for Research on Education Outcomes (CREDO) at Stanford University report, Urban Charter School Study Report on 41 Regions found that public charter schools located in the nation’s largest urban districts are showing significant positive performance impacts for the most disadvantaged students.
As teachers in Denver learn from each other, their students—70 percent of whom are low-income or students of color—are learning, too. In the past decade, Denver’s graduation rate has increased by more than 25 percent.
Districts and charter schools across the country are coming together in partnership, sharing best practices and resources while helping each other problem-solve with the goal of improving outcomes for every child they serve.
