Noble Street College Prep is the first campus of the high-performing Noble Network of Charter Schools in Chicago. Serving more than 11,000 students, the school focuses on high expectations for students—most of whom are low-income and students of color—while giving them the support they need to succeed in college and life. This bond extends beyond graduation as Noble staff become constant supporters, tracking and counseling alumni to ensure that they make it through college. About 93 percent of the 650 high school students who attend Noble Street come from low-income households, and 98 percent are students of color.
True to the school's focus on college preparation and academic rigor, over 60 percent of the Class of 2016 took an AP or honors course at Noble Street. And this preparation is paying off: Every year, over 95 percent of Noble seniors are accepted to four-year colleges, and 80 percent of graduates are first-generation college students.
